Loukrezis Model Μaking
Our first presentation concerns architecture and specifically architectural models, which, in order to be designed planned and built, require a combination of traditional and modern techniques with 3D printing. To be able to provide excellent solutions and give impressive results in this extremely difficult and demanding profession it is imperative that a highly reliable and accurate additive manufacturing solution is chosen that is able to cope with the highest of demands.
In this industry, one of the most well-known companies in the field is Loukrezis Model Making as they build architectural models since 1965 offering quality and reliability at very high levels.
The experience they have gained in collaboration with most design agencies in Greece and in connection with the continuous investments in new technology and human resources guarantee the best quality and at the same time the fast delivery of the models.
They have been using 3D printing since 2002 and since 2005 they have the first color printer in Greece. Among the rest of their equipment, Formlabs Form printers have a dominant position, offering high resolution, detail in small and large models, lifespan of the models on display due to their quality resins, huge possibilities due to the wide range of consumables with various properties and of course great reliability and ease of use which is extremely useful when stressful deadlines leave no room for failure.
The following are examples of their work, where the use of Formlabs SLA printers played a key role in the quality of the result. At the same time, Preform software and the ease of post-processing of printed models and the easy cleaning of supports are a great help.
